Drake Adds Closed Caption Capability to DSE24 HD Digital Signage Encoder

Customers have been raving about the performance and value of Drake’s DSE24 High Definition video encoder since its introduction in April of 2011. Many have compared its video quality to encoders costing more than 10 times that of the DSE24. Labeled as a “Digital Signage Encoder” the DSE24 is finding its way into several other applications due to its exceptional combination of quality, performance and value. Because many of these applications require closed caption data be preserved, Drake has added a composite video input to the DSE24 so closed caption information may be extracted from the composite video output of the source device.

In an admirable attempt to save money many customers in our industry have settled for high definition encoders that lack the ability to deliver both stunning HD video and years of trouble free operation. Once customers experience Drake’s DSE24 HD video encoder, it won’t be a product they settle for, it will be the “High Definition Video Encoder” they demand.
